  The Shore Club has great staff but lacks in ownership and operations. My wife and I went to the restaurant on Tuesday 3/28 for the "kids eat free" special they offer for our 2 and half year old. We decided to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful weather, instead of sitting in the dinner area. My wife and I ordered a salad (which took 45 minutes to get) and chicken tenders for our toddler. When we asked for our check, it had the kids meal on it. We asked the nice waitress and she said because we sat outside that we couldn't take advantage of the special; it comes out of the same kitchen we told her. We ended up paying, just was a sneaky move.
  
  A couple weeks ago, one of our dear friend's child (Tega Cay resident) had a battle with cancer that he eventually won. I went to the owner to propose a fundraiser special the restaurant could help me put on to help the family with the medical bills. The owner said "no, its not in his plans". We weren't asking for money, just wanted to plan an event. A few weeks later, I notice the Shore Club at Tega Cay had sponsored one of the Adult Softball teams that play at Turner field. The City of Tega Cay supports the "Clubhouse", I wish the Clubhouse would find the time to support one of our own in a time of need.
  
  Last issue, I went to the clubhouse for this past New Year's eve with about 10 people and the owner of the bar kept approaching my buddies daughter trying to buy her a drink after she repeatedly said "no".
  
  The staff, entertainment, and atmosphere are great! Its the operation and new ownership is what rubs me the wrong way.

  We live in Tega Cay and this used to be our regular Friday restaurant for several years. Unfortunately, with the new management it has gone way down hill food-wise and way up hill price-wise. After three meals we have given up.
